Family Housing Programs

Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Family Housing Program employs two models to prevent and end homelessness among families with children in Los Angeles County: Permanent Supportive Housing and Transitional Housing.

The Permanent Supportive Housing Program utilizes 'Housing First' approach which seeks to house and keep homeless people in permanent housing while providing supportive services to increase their independence by addressing barriers to housing that would lead to re-occurrence of homelessness.

The Transitional Housing Program provides a safe and stable environment for families with children while providing support and opportunities to attain their goals that will lead to housing. For more information: 213-229-9966 or socialservices@svdpla.org.
